Figuring out the truth behind the Electrostatic
Energy Conversion System of Dr. John G. Trump, of MIT.
It's impossible to simulate his experiment without running up against a conundrum....
His experiment emulates a single capacitor in as much as he has two capacitors which share a plate between them. Merely moving this middle plate back and forth to increase versus decrease the two distances on either side of it destroys electrical energy rather than synthesizing it!

If you want to synthesize electricity using his method, or a semblance of it, you have to also expand and contract the total distance between the two outer plates at the same time as moving the middle plate back and forth. This is because these two capacitors are connected in series effectively making them one single capacitor. And it is this singular capacitor whose parameter must also be taken into consideration, namely: the total distance between the two outer plates must also vary over time – which implies that it doesn't matter what the middle plate does!

But, in order to simulate his experiment correctly (for synthesis to occur some of the time), two capacitors are connected in series. They both vary by a factor of one thousand (to take an example). But they're shifted with respect to each other. One ranges from 1mF to 1F while the other is varying from 10F to 10mF.

And in order to set this up in my realistic simulator, the values are inputed thus:
  1. The top-most capacitor is edited to have its minimum parametric value set to 10mF while its maximum parametric value is set to 10F.
  2. The bottom-most capacitor is edited to have its minimum parametric value set to 1F while its maximum parametric value is set to 1mF.
  3. Because of the manner in which I setup this software to accept parametric variance, by setting up these conditions exactly as I describe -above- will result in their being inversely related in their phase relation. In other words, when one is low the other will be high and vice versa. This will emulate the movement of the middle plate while the two different ranges will emulate the expansion and contraction of the two outer plates.

Breaux Onezime merely proposed an idea by patenting Dr. John G. Trump's device based on conversations he had with Dr. Trump. It is not explicitly stated within the body of the patent that Breaux ever |actually| built it. In other words, it could be flawed and both he and the Patent Office be ignorant of this.

I prefer to consider the possibility of joining multiple capacitors in parallel – not in series – if I'm to enjoy the theoretical benefits of multiple capacitors rather than restricting myself to merely one due to capacitance formulas.
