Parallel capacitance is significant because, if for no other benefit, 
they soak up voltage from the vicinity nearby their associated coils 
to help prevent error messages of the type, "floating node", which 
would prematurely terminate the simulator's runtime. This prevents 
excessive buildup of voltage which is a cool safety feature.
