Actually, the throttle action is the coupling coeffience
between stator and rotor coils, such as between: L3 and
L5, or between L4 and L6. What also makes a difference
is the size of the load. So, this behaves like any normal
circuit would behave with the only difference is that
nothing, no outside source of energy, is supplying power
to run this circuit.
