I don't see any current being pumped from the ground on the right side of his schematic.

Instead...
I see the opportunity for a scant stimulus of power accessible from the ground on the right side. This stimulates a buildup of voltage within Byron's circuit. So, even before adding any voltage multiplier to the right of his diode bridge, his circuit is already capable of multiplying voltage.

All I had to do was eliminate his AC input coming from the ACMains, and retain its AC ground (on the left side of his schematic which is implied; it is not explicitly connected to his diagram) to allow for the buildup of voltage to have somewhere to drain itself (into) to form a pathway for current to flow through, either: a resistive load, or an inductive load, placed on this left-hand ground.

I have also had to compensate for the Earth's very stable and highly elevated capacitance, existing somewhere in the Tera Farad range (assuming a hollow Earth), by compensating with a very unstable, low capacitance of a pico Farad (give or take by a factor of ten) so as to provide for (incourage) over-reactance. Over-reactance is given scientific credibility by its allowance via Foster's reactance theorem (Wikipedia) which hints at over-unity due to negative impedance (aka, negative resistance, negative watts, etc) and the generation of power (in contradistinction to positive watts which indicates the consumption of power).

I like to measure volts separate from amps to see their individual wave forms and phase relations since this gives my non-logical right-brain the chance to absorb its characteristic behavior patterns (similar to how method actors, such as: Meryl Streep and Nick Nolte and River Phoenix, etc, "become" their character during the shooting of their film). This gives me something to analyze.

I also like to compare the polarity of volts versus the polarity of amps to see whether they differ and whether they differ all of the time or merely some of the time. Their difference in polarity indicates negative resistance/impedance.
