(00:00:01.585): Okay, here's the third attempt, I hope you don't mind the traffic, at defining gravity. (00:00:10.110): So if you have two homopolar disks, (00:00:15.733): or I should say you have two fields of two homopolar disks, (00:00:21.157): and the fields are in the same location as each other, (00:00:25.519): they're just spinning in opposite directions, so (00:00:31.080): If all you have to look at are the fields and you don't have the disks, (00:00:36.782): they're invisible or you can't see them, (00:00:38.842): they're too far away or something, all you can see are the fields. (00:00:43.324): What are you going to be able to see? (00:00:44.524): Well, you're going to be able to see (00:00:47.765): the location (00:00:52.287): in space. (00:00:53.827): Where it is, and you're going to be able to see the angle at which the spin axis is tilted. (00:01:03.676): But you're not going to be able to see the north pole versus the south pole (00:01:06.138): because they counteract each other and neutralize each other's north (00:01:08.980): and south poles. (00:01:10.662): You won't even be able to see the poles, (00:01:13.845): but you will be able to see the plane of their ecliptic axis. (00:01:17.722): And from that, (00:01:19.163): by 90 degrees perpendicularity, (00:01:23.947): you can infer the angle of tilt of the spin axis (00:01:31.493): that these two counter-rotating spinning fields share in space. (00:01:39.099): Now, you can infer further what (00:01:44.563): the strengths of Their charges, (00:01:49.418): these two fields, (00:01:51.359): even though they cancel each other and the net charge is zero, (00:01:55.801): you can infer what the spin rate is and what the charge resulting (00:02:02.005): from their spin rate is based on how the universe of these objects impinges (00:02:11.911): or interacts with this particular one that you're focusing on, which creates... (00:02:18.081): The appearance, (00:02:20.502): or the misunderstanding, (00:02:21.663): the misdiagnosis of size, (00:02:27.426): or I should say mass, not size, mass, and (00:02:34.189): what's the other one that goes with mass? (00:02:38.951): Well, let's just stick with mass for the moment. (00:02:40.832): Gravity. (00:02:42.133): The mass and the gravity. (00:02:44.974): And you infer that based on (00:02:48.793): How the various tangential angles of the other potential charges in (00:02:55.997): the universe interacts with the one in question that you're focusing on. (00:03:01.140): What kind of interaction do you get? (00:03:06.803): And you'll only be able to measure it as a singularity of mass, aka gravity. (00:03:16.563): And so that's why it's so simplistic and how we get away with (00:03:20.446): a simplistic definition of gravity and mass because we don't get to see much (00:03:26.151): because it's more complicated but things are being neutralized. (00:03:29.133): They're being canceled. (00:03:34.898): And what we think is mass and gravity is inferential. (00:03:40.683): It's implied. (00:03:42.885): It's not something (00:03:48.238): That is a root cause. (00:03:51.540): It's a circumstantial result of other root causes that are interacting, (00:03:57.743): which I've just described. (00:04:02.326): So that's my third attempt at describing gravity, (00:04:04.848): and I hope it's a little more succinct and also a little more clear (00:04:08.910): than my first two attempts. (00:04:10.811): But hey, gotta keep trying, right? (00:04:14.853): This is why... (00:04:16.999): The Yoga Sutra of potentially on levitation works, even though it doesn't make any sense. (00:04:26.205): But that's because we don't understand gravity. (00:04:28.727): So what does the Sutra say? (00:04:31.689): The relationship between the body and space. (00:04:36.752): Well, the analog term in the Vedas for space (00:04:44.337): is the cosmic body. (00:04:47.732): So, which is the field? (00:04:51.414): While the body is a point within the field, (00:04:54.876): made up of numerous points within that field, innumerable. (00:05:00.340): Each one a point of charge, (00:05:05.763): influencing all the other points, (00:05:07.324): giving the illusion of gravity for those other points and mass. (00:05:13.153): But if you identify with the field and transcend the limitations (00:05:18.797): of any singular point, (00:05:21.699): namely any celestial body such as a star or a planet, (00:05:26.403): then gravity has no definition, it has no meaning. (00:05:30.846): Because it only has meaning if you identify as a point within the field. (00:05:37.543): Then you are imposed upon by all the other points within that field creating gravity. (00:05:44.987): But if you identify with the whole field, (00:05:47.369): there is no other point of reference to impose upon you the illusion of gravity and (00:05:52.892): so you're whitelist. (00:05:55.173): You have no gravity. (00:05:58.035): And if your consciousness is identified with the cosmic body of space, (00:06:07.783): Then your own personal body is not affected even though it should be. (00:06:12.365): Because your mind is overpowering the whole of creation, (00:06:20.389): the whole of physical existence, what impact it is having on your body. (00:06:27.592): It's overruled and you float or you fly. (00:06:32.094): Your choice. (00:06:34.755): So this is the significance Of Potanjali's Yoga Sutra. (00:06:39.208): Now there's another part to it, which I don't really understand why it's necessary. (00:06:42.869): It seems unnecessary as far as I'm concerned. (00:06:47.310): Once you get the first part, what do you need the second part for? (00:06:50.791): You're already weightless. (00:06:52.911): I don't know. (00:06:54.252): Maybe it sets up the right attitude so that you can identify with the field. (00:06:58.433): I don't know. (00:06:59.913): By knowing what the objective is. (00:07:02.874): The objective is the lightness of cotton down. (00:07:06.424): Which is no gravity. (00:07:10.285): So I guess that's the (00:07:13.866): diagnostic check as to whether or how successful have you been (00:07:18.168): in identifying yourself with the field even though your body is subjected to all (00:07:25.150): the points within that field your consciousness is not because you start to realize (00:07:30.772): that your mind is You're capable of being cosmic. (00:07:39.724): And as such, (00:07:42.606): all of these limitations of the body don't impact the consciousness (00:07:48.510): of your mind anymore, and so you can float. (00:07:52.373): Even though you shouldn't be able to, (00:07:53.714): by the laws of physics, you do, because your mind's overruling physics. (00:08:01.754): And so I guess that's what the purpose of the second half of the sutra is for. (00:08:08.059): It's to set up the right intention. (00:08:12.422): The intention is not to fly. (00:08:14.504): Even though that's the benefit, potentially says that's the benefit, is movement through space. (00:08:19.768): But that's not the intention. (00:08:23.856): Because if you get hung up on that, you're not going to get anything done. (00:08:27.337): The intention is the lightness of cotton down. (00:08:29.898): That is the correct intention to facilitate identifying with the field even (00:08:35.319): though your body is subjected as a point to the forces of all (00:08:39.960): the other points creating the effect of gravity and mass.
